In Matthew 25 Jesus shares a parable about a master giving his servants talents. Two of the three servants put their talents to work and the Lord blessed greatly! The third got scared, hid his talents, and the master was very disappointed in him.
Jesus is coming back soon and it is imperative that every follower of Christ take their time, talent and treasure and use it in a way that trusts the Lord and sees Him multiply it. My prayer is that VLife will be a ministry that takes the time, talent and treasures the Lord has provided and we prayerfully use it all for God to multiply it.
I have been so encouraged by the many in our church who are putting God first in their lives. I know economic challenges abound, but so many of our families continue to tithe (give God the first 10%) and I believe they will experience the blessing of God, just as God's Word says. Sunday, many of our folks responded by committing to tithe this year of 2011, some for the first time. I'm telling you, God will use a generation that puts Him first in all things!
I want to encourage every teenager to sign up for Momentum this month of February!
